Call Record Details

NTT East does not automatically retain details of subscribers' calls. However, NTT East can be requested to retain and provide subscribers with records of call dates, times, duration, and numbers called. (This service is not available for certain telephone numbers.) NTT East takes special precautions when providing calling records to subscribers due to the confidential nature of this information.

Call Record Details

NTT East can provide call records in the following ways.

• The type of call records can be changed upon request.
• There is no charge for keeping records.
• The records are generally deleted two months after the due date.

Inquiries Regarding Call Record Details

To request call record details, please go to an NTT East service counter.

• NTT East cannot disclose call record details over the telephone.

NTT East only discloses call record details to the following people:

1. The telephone subscriber
2. The user of the telephone line
3. The person who always pays the telephone bill for that line

In order to keep subscriber information confidential, a letter of consent or a letter of attorney may be required when someone other than the actual telephone subscriber requests call record details. Please call for more information before going to an NTT East service counter.
Also, please have official identification (Japanese driver's license, Certificate of Alien Registration, passport, etc.) with you to request call record details.

Itemized Report Service by Post

For call record details by post, please apply for the Itemized Report Service at an NTT East service counter.

For domestic long-distance calls

• Details included
  Monthly details of date, telephone number, and duration for each domestic long-distance call (including calls to mobile phones or PHSs), and also, the number of calls and total dialing charges for local calls.
• Mailing procedure
  Itemized Reports are sent together with telephone bills or bank transfer notices.
• No postage/handling fees

For all calls (including local calls)

• Details included
  Monthly details of date, telephone number, and duration for all calls including local calls.
• Postage/handling fees
  Handling fees are calculated according to the number of pages used for the Report, but there is no charge for postage.
  Please note: There is no handling fee with @Billing.
