ISPs now connect individually to the regional IP network in each prefecture.
After the wide-area plan goes into effect, an ISP will have the option of connecting to all regional IP networks in the entire NTT East service area by one POI, in addition to the existing option of connecting individually to each network.
*The rates shown here are the interconnection charges enabling communication across all prefectures in the NTT East service area.
These rates will become official after the necessary changes have been made to the Articles of Agreement concerning Interconnection.
