Note 1:
Voice transmission services, which are included in designated telecommunications services other than specified telecommunications services, had operating revenues of 62,916 million yen, operating expenses of 72,312 million yen, and operating losses of 9,396 million yen. Data transmission services had operating revenues of 105,177 million yen, operating expenses of 108,144 million yen, and operating losses of 2,967 million yen.

Note 2:
Starting from the fiscal year ended March 31, 2009, designated telecommunications services other than specified telecommunications services (voice transmission services) include profits and losses from IP communications network services for voice use. (Up to the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008, profits and losses from IP communications network services for voice use were included in telecommunications services other than designated telecommunications services.)
