Expansion of Service Availability (NTT West)


FLET'SADSL

At present (end of August 2001) service is available to 362 cities in the NTT West service area, covering approximately 78 percent of customers. By the end of September, it is planned to expand service to all 367 officially designated cities, covering around 81 percent of the customer base.
The specific schedule for FLET'SADSL availability in each locality will be announced on the company Web site and elsewhere.

* Note that service may be unavailable in certain parts even of the service provision areas depending on the switching and other facilities serving those areas.

The coverage rates given above are based on the number of fixed telephone installations.


FLET'SISDN

At present (end of August 2001) service is available to 367 cities in the NTT West service area, covering approximately 81 percent of customers. By the end of October, it is planned to expand service further to 768 out of a total of 1,501 towns and villages in the service area, achieving coverage of approximately 93 percent of the customer base.
The specific schedule for FLET'SISDN availability in each locality will be announced on the company Web site and elsewhere.
