Monthly Billing
Monthly telephone bills are composed of basic monthly charges (line service charges, internal wiring usage charges, terminal equipment usage charges, optional service charges, universal service charges, etc.) and dialing charges, etc.

•	Subscribers are also required to pay universal service charges of ¥8.4/month (incl. tax)
•	The amount which appears on the NTT East bill consists of charges for telephone services, telegram services, telephone directory advertising, NTT East products etc. The following may also be included in the amount: lease payments, installment payments, DIAL Q2 information charges, etc.
