Transmission speed is guaranteed, so ATM Mega Link is well suited to applications that require real-time connections for voice and video. This service can provide powerful support in constructing private networks that integrate a variety of media and uses, such as for intranets, PBX and image transfer.

Select Speeds in 1Mbit/s Increments

ATM Mega Link provides the flexibility to set up the service most compatible with your system. You decide the transmission speed when you sign up. Choose from 136 levels including 0.5Mbit/s or anywhere from 1 to 135Mbit/s in 1Mbit/s increments.

Service Classes and Backup Features Meeting Customer Requirements

There are three different service classes - Dual Class, Extra Class and Single Class, for backup of the network section between NTT EAST facilities during breakdowns. Either single- or double-fiber cable can be installed in the access section between NTT EAST and customer facilities. Customers can choose the appropriate service class to meet their system and application needs.

*Customers may have to wait for the service to become available, or the service may not be available at all, depending on the state of equipment and other circumstances, even within the area the service is provided. NTT EAST will need to inspect optical equipment at the customer's home after an application has been submitted.
